Bizarro Avatarverse: Katara

I know what you are thinking. Slayer, wouldn't it have been easier just to manip a screenshot of Katara in her Fire Nation clothes? Yes, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun for me. Besides Katara's third season Water Tribe clothes is my favorite of her outfits next to her Ba Sing Se party attire. I had to do a Fire Nation spin on them.

Katara is the granddaughter of Kanna, a noblewoman infamous in the Fire Nation for reneging on her engagement to War Minister Pakku and taking refuge in the Earth Kingdom colonies. The family lived a life of quiet anonymity until Katara's mother Kya was killed by an army of Water Tribe marauders during a raid on their town. Her father Hakoda immediately enlisted in the Fire Nation Navy where he proved himself to be an excellent leader and strategist. His superiors were quick to take notice. They promoted him to commander and eventually admiral. His family was welcomed back to the Fire Nation with open arms once again and Kanna and Pakku were at last reconciled. The War Minister even took Katara under his wing. Within short order, Katara became a master firebender in her own right.

The death of Kya was a tremendous blow to Katara. She became fixated with legends told to her by grandmother of the missing Avatar and funds an expedition (a fool's errand according to her brother) to find him and bring him back to the Fire Nation in the hopes of stopping the war and ending Water Tribe terrorism.
